Terms of Service

These terms are an agreement between you and [LEGAL BUSINESS NAME] (“Sleepy Angel Stories,” “we,” “us”). By signing up, you agree to them. Please read them carefully.

The service

Sleepy Angel Stories emails a personalized Christian bedtime story for each child on your account every evening. Stories are written in advance and personalized with the details you give us. Delivery times are approximate and depend on email providers.

Who can sign up

You must be at least 18 years old and the parent or legal guardian of (or otherwise authorized to provide information about) each child you add. Children may not create accounts.

Free trial and subscription

• New families get a 7-day free trial. A payment card is required to start the trial.
• Unless you cancel before the trial ends, your subscription begins automatically and your card is charged $9.99 per month or $79 per year, depending on the plan you chose, plus any applicable tax.
• Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each month or year until you cancel. You authorize us (through our payment processor, Stripe) to charge your card on each renewal.
• One free trial per family. Families who return after canceling start a paid subscription right away.
• We may change prices in the future. If we do, we'll email you at least [30] days before the change applies to you, and you can cancel before then.

Canceling

You can cancel anytime using the “Manage my subscription” link in any email or on your account page. See our Cancellation and Refund Policy for details.

Failed payments

If a payment fails, we'll email you and try again. If the payment is still not made after 7 days, we may pause stories until it is.

Your account

Keep the information you give us accurate, and keep access to your email account secure, since sign-in links are sent there. You're responsible for activity on your account.

Our stories

All stories, prayers, illustrations, and other content are owned by Sleepy Angel Stories or used with permission. Your subscription lets you read, print, and share the stories within your own family for personal, non-commercial use. Please don't republish, sell, or distribute them.

Acceptable use

Please don't misuse the service, for example by entering information about a child you aren't responsible for, trying to access other families' information, or interfering with the website.

Disclaimers

Our stories are for family devotion and bedtime enjoyment. They retell Bible stories in simple words for young children and are not a substitute for Scripture itself or for your church's teaching. The service is provided “as is” and we don't promise it will always be available or free of errors.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, our total liability for any claim related to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages. [ATTORNEY: review.]

Ending the service

We may suspend or end accounts that break these terms. If we ever stop offering Sleepy Angel Stories, we'll give you notice and refund any unused part of a prepaid yearly plan.

Governing law

Changes to these terms
